Before you just jump into a mastermind group, you should interview them as much as they interview you during their application process. It is recommended that you meet with the leader and a few group members (perhaps one old and one new) before committing. In those meetings, I would ask some of the following questions where you find them appropriate.
Questions To Ask Your Mastermind Leader About Themselves

- What is your greatest hope or intention for each member and the group as a whole?
- How long as the group been running?
- What is your mastermind group leadership style?
- How do you draw the line between facilitation and coaching?
- How do you view your role as the group leader?
- Who is your ideal mastermind group member?
- Will the group help me ____________________(<==your biggest challenge or desire)?

- How big is the group now? What is your sweet spot number?
- How do you create an environment of accountability and not just ideas?
- Can you introduce me to a new and old member I can speak to for 10-15 minutes?
